GR LearnPro – Student Course Progress

The Student Course Progress page provides a real-time view of student activity, scores, and engagement. It enables teachers and administrators to track progress, manage coursework, and intervene effectively to support student success.

 

Accessing the Performance Dashboard

1. Under “My Activities,” navigate to “Performance” under “Dashboards.” This is also available under Key Menus.


        2. Enter the student id in the search field and click on “Search.” The student’s full name and grade will be displayed, below which the courses the student is enrolled will be displayed

 

3. Above the courses table, on the right-hand side, four buttons can be seen:
  1. Reports – used to download “Course Completion and Grade,” “ILP and Progress,” “Skills Summary,” “Course Progress and Activity,” and “Progress or Report Card”
  2. View Previous Records – used to view student’s previous year’s courses and completion details
  3. Edit – redirects to the student page to edit info – name, address, course, etc.
  4. Download – downloads the current progress report, and the course completion and grade report for each and every course enrolled



        4. On the courses listed, click on the radio button to get the settings below it:

  1. Customize course – used to update/create ILP, add or remove activities such as lessons, unit test, etc., edit/delete/reset schedule/pacing, and download course progress and student calendar
  2. Enable posttest – used to enable Course Posttest
  3. Grade/re-grade questions – used to grade OEQs submitted by the student
  4. Edit schedule/pacing – used to add and edit pacing calendar/schedule
  5. Work offline – used to download lessons, questions, and answer key in pdf format


        5. Right next to the radio button is the lock/unlock course button:

  1. When course is locked, the button will be gray, and students cannot work on it

  1. When course is unlocked, the button will be green, and students can work on it

 

        6. Next to the Lock Course button is the Course Progress:

  1. When course is not started, the progress bar will be in gray with 0% completed

  1. When course is in progress, the progress bar will have a running man icon, with the % of completion displayed below

  1. When course is completed, a green man icon with a trophy symbol will be displayed with 100% completion

 

        7. Next to the Course Progress is the Course Pretest:

  1. When the test is not enabled or started, there will be a NA denoting it

  1. When the test is enabled, a round green button will denote it

  1. When the test is in progress, a running man icon will denote it

  1. When the test is completed, the score will be displayed

 

        8. Next to the Course Pretest is the Course Posttest:

  1. When the test is not enabled or started, a round green button will denote it

  1. When the test is enabled, a thumbs up icon will denote it

  1. When the test is in progress, a running man icon will denote it

  1. When the test is completed, the score will be displayed

 

        9. Next to the Course Posttest is the Completion & Last Login:

  1. The numbers in green indicate the activities mastered
  2. The numbers in red indicate the activities not mastered
  3. The numbers in gray indicate the activities not yet started
  4. Below the no. of activities, the last login of the student will be displayed

 


        10. The column next to Completion & Last Login is the Current Grade – the grade of the student based on the scores achieved thus far in the course


        11. The column next to Current Grade is the Final Grade – the grade student has scored based on the activities completed and the one that are yet to be completed


        12. The next column is the Action:

  • Click on the “Course Progress” to see the scores of individual activities – course pretest, lesson posttest, project, forum, unit test, etc.
  • Teachers and administrators can take various actions to assist students in their progress:
  • Reset Course: Allows students to restart the course from the beginning.
  • Reset Course Pretest: Enables students to retake the pretest with new questions.
  • Reset Lesson Posttest: Students or teachers can reset lesson tests for a retake.
  • Release Unit Tests:
  • Normally, unit tests are unlocked after all unit activities are completed.
  •  Teachers can manually release a unit test before all activities are finished.
  • Reset Course Posttest: Students can retake the posttest with a new set of questions.
  • Enable (Release) Course Posttest: Teachers can unlock the course posttest for students.

 

  • Click on the “View Details” to see the mastery level, weightage of the activities, no. of activities completed and not completed, calculation of the current and final grades



Tips

  • Track completion rates, scores, and activity status regularly for better student support.
  • Quickly identify students who need interventions based on activity status and mastery levels.
  • Reset pretests, posttests, and unit tests when necessary.
  • Release tests or reset activities to allow students to reattempt and improve.
  • Use the available data to provide insights to parents, school administrators, or academic advisors.
  • Ensure students are keeping up with coursework and intervene when necessary.
  • Reset tests only when students truly need a fresh attempt.
  • Understanding Total Points, Points Scored, and Points Answered helps tailor learning support.
