Learning Tools and Navigation

Learning Tools

On the right-hand side of the lesson page, the Learning Tools tab provides a variety of tools to support your learning experience. These tools are designed to help you better understand content, stay organized, and get assistance when needed.

Available Learning Tools

• Request an Instructor

  Connect with a live instructor for assistance (if enabled by your school or district).

• Course Progress

  View your overall progress within the course.

• Vocabulary

  Access difficult words along with their meanings to improve understanding.

• Highlighter

  Review highlighted content within the lesson for quick reference.

• CC Link (Closed Captions)

  Enable or view subtitles for videos included in the lesson.

• Calculator

  Perform calculations directly within the lesson.

• Notes

  Take notes while learning.

  All saved notes can be accessed through the Saved Notes option at the top of the Notes section.

• Scratchpad

  Draw, type, or jot down ideas while working through the lesson.

  Use the Save option at the bottom of the Scratchpad to store your work.

• Send us an Email

  Redirects you to the My Messages feature, where you can send, receive, and manage messages.

Navigation Tools

The Navigation Tools are located at the bottom of the lesson page, along with audio controls. These tools help you move through the lesson and activities easily.

Navigation Options

• Next

  Moves you to the next page.

• Previous

  Takes you back to the previous page.

• Next Activity (Right Arrow)

  Skips ahead to the next activity.

• Previous Activity (Left Arrow)

  Returns to the previous activity.

Tips for Effective Use

• Use Notes and Scratchpad to actively engage with the lesson.

• Check Course Progress regularly to stay on track.

• Use Request an Instructor whenever you need additional support.
